Biltong sticks (Afrikaans: stokkies) are slim, air-dried beef strips—leaner than many slabs, with a medium-to-hard chew and a snappy bite. They’re the grab-and-go legends of SA snacking.
Which styles do you stock?
Look out for Original sticks (classic A/B-grade beef), Chilli sticks (a gentle klap of heat) and Game/venison sticks when available.
How do sticks compare to sliced/slab biltong or drywors?
Sticks = lean, snappy and portable. Sliced/slabs = thicker cuts (from lean to geelvet fatty). Drywors = thin dried sausage with a different spice profile.
Are stokkies lean or fatty?
Generally leaner than slabs, with visible fat varying by batch. For full-fat flavour bombs, see C-grade geelvet (not sticks) or treat yourself to Wagyu drywors.
What’s the texture like?
Expect medium to firm chew—great for mindful snacking and road trips. Chilli variants keep the same bite with added zing.

Storage & shelf life
Short term: cool, dry place in the original bag. Longer: refrigerate. Very long: you can freeze. Avoid sealed plastic at room temp (sweating → mould). Vacuum-seal is optional at checkout for travel/storage.
